My SR5 "wannabe". I just need to find some painted fender flares then it will be complete.

Nice truck man, unpainted flares look the best on black trucks, besides don't have to worry bout dings..
I bought my truck from a dude from Jackson Tn. had 37000 miles and looked show room, Then I started adding all the lift, tires and more...

Thanks, I might just skip the painted flares and save my money for something else.

I don't know about your area, but here in East Tennessee, there are very few 2nd Gen Regular Cabs which is a shame b/c they are the best looking IMO :).

...thinking about getting bigger tires to ready myself for the winter season, as I've heard the stock Dunlops are no good.

Bought the truck in Iowa...saw a few of the RC SR5's at dealerships there - no bucket seats that I was aware of though! Moved to Colorado now and saw a grey one just like mine in the same county.

Here's mine with it's Leer topper:

Thanks! The great thing about this topper is that on the other side, I've got a Windoor, which swings up so I can access things in the bed closest to the cab. It's got a sliding window too, so I can get plenty of air flow for the pooch.

Maybe this is the place to ask ... time for new tires on my '07 SR5 and I'd like to get rid of the stock steelies. Found a good deal locally on a set of the TRD off-road rims but I'm getting mixed message on if the dumb steel tire sensors will work in them. Anyone know? The sensors are not available in the set of aluminum wheels I found and I don't want to see the dumb ! light every day.

Got my '07 Reg Cab SR5 in February after a long search. Loving every minute of it!

The sensors are different for the TRD wheels. I found my wheels on craigslist’s complete with sensors. Then it was a $45 charge at Toyota to reprogram the system to recognize the new sensors.

Farmer Fredrick your name wouldnt be Adam. I knew I would run into you somewhere in TW.

The amount of miss information that people hear and get from dealers is amazing! Just reading this post is proof.

I have the same Taco as Farmer Fredrick bought in the same town if he is who I think he is. And although mine taco was the first Black SR5 4x4 in town. Here in Iowa City I can think of 3 silver and 2 red SR5 4x4's in town. I know the silver ones now by the drivers! haha

Getting 267/75/16 Duratracs today. Adam Ill let you know how they handle. maybe I ll get some snow pics 2moro!

Funny note. After I ordered my 09 Black 4x4 SR5 and picked it up. I noticed they have kept at least one black one on their lot at all times

I live here in Richmond too, have you ever been ticketed for the 20% tint? I have my front windows tinted but they're way lighter than the factory tinted ones.
