Well that sucks!! I wouldn't just be annoyed. I'd be pissed off and would badmouth them online.

That sucks! We went and picked up our new Highlander SE 4 weeks ago with the black wheels and black trim (kind of hard to find) and while we were waiting right there at the dealer with the check they crashed it into the building.

Deal over. Sheet metal wiped right out.

They flatbeaded an identical model in 24 hours with 8 miles on it after my wife lit into them about driving one in 200 miles. Guess not so rare?

Stuff happens at the dealer. It’s how they react that makes a difference.

You did good. What color did you get?

Looking through cars.com today it appears they are becoming more plentiful on the lots around me.

Thank you! patience and persistence is key.

    VooDoo Blue

Thats the perks of living in a big city full of dealerships. I live in a Navy town so dealerships think we are just Sailors full of money in our pockets and that is why I am driving 2 hours up north. The shady dealership said their price is low enough that the 750 that toyota is giving military members will just be added to their price and that 750 will be their profit instead. BS!

I was on a short high thinking about my deposit and now this scares me...

Wow awesome. I just sent out the emails tonight to the lower dealers. I think 1000 under invoice is the best was I offered on an outright price given to me, but one came back and said they'd do 2500 under invoice guaranteed.

That's great. I think I'm only just a few hundred below invoice. If you can get more out of the dealerships, keep going.

Well I finally bit the bullet and let my 2018 M3 go, picked up a 2020 white pro today. I'm liking it so far, had all of 7 miles on it and half of those were from my test drive Friday. Ordered my ceramic coating so hopefully I can have all the black vinyl off and the badges off by the time Amazon delivers my coating. Then it'll have to sit for a few days to cure. After that it'll be on to match the window tint on the front doors. Hopefully the new BFG KO2s (part of the deal) will be at the dealership soon too and she'll be complete (for now).

My plan was to hold out for a cement OR with the cameras but I fell in love with the pro wheels and I've always liked white vehicles, my M3 was white as well.

Why would you believe a random dealer's website over the official Toyota one? Also half or more of the things listed there have nothing to do with the Premium package and are standard features. In no way are all the things listed there directly attributable to the Premium package, including Homelink. Again... port or dealer add-on, not from the factory...

Congrats on the new purchase, and condolences on letting the M3 go. What year was the M3? Tough choice!

Toyota of Portland. Found out they sold it under me because they messed up and took my trade that put them in the negative. So instead of reaching out to me they sold it to someone to get more for the truck.

It was a 2018 M3, the F80. A 6 spd manual with the CTS tune on it. Tuned versus untuned was night and day as well. I reverted back to stock a few days ago and it felt like I lost a ton of power. The poor truck feels like I'm driving a gutless pig by comparison but it'll just take a week or so to get use to the new driving characteristics. I'll miss it but the cost of ownership was just so high as they age. I had no issues but that wouldn't last much longer, tires that only last 15-20k that can't be rotated, $400 brake pads, $1,200 lithium ion battery, etc. I fell in love with it and just had to have it but should have calculated the cost of ownership into the equation. Plus I bought some rental property earlier this year so it was a pain last time I had to do some plumbing, PVC pipe from the trunk to the wind shield sucked...lol

What did they end up giving you on the M3 if you don’t mind me asking. I’ll be trading my 2018 M2 F87.

Has anyone who has bought a 2020 added the Power Tailgate Lock as an option?
