South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

About once a month I visit family there.

 

Well guys back up here for the rest of the week and maybe next week. 3rd gen is down so I drove the weekend toy

I was just wondering if there are any Taco communities in the TR / Greenville area.

 

These or get a buddy’s old leafs and stack em with mine is the question

Actually someone in a white 3rd gen driving like an ass almost rear ended me a week ago.

 

Mall crawler? An AAL should be fine
Actual offroader? get a whole leaf pack.

 

I off road lightly just some backroad stuff every blue moon

 

AAL is plenty. Unless you’re trying to follow some of these wild ones and go wheeling.... for our backroads and Francis Marion then AAL is good to go

You can find Chevy leafs and mix a couple into your stock leaf pack for some lift and a dramatic increase in load carrying capacity

 

Believe it or not I've never camped there. It's always full when I look for a site. But that should speak to it's popularity. The RV sites are nice and level, if a little close for my liking. Pretty much every site is close to the lake with a view, if not right on the water. There are a couple of trails with some geocaches if you are into that. It's a bit cool for swimming, but the area on the other side of the park has a pretty nice pier for fishing off of. The office has a kinda cool historical display/museum type thing. If I think of anything else I'll post it up!

 

This was stock pack with Chevy leafs added. Lots of flex. Flex was limited by shock length. Rode pretty nicely.
This was my old 2005 Tacoma. Might have to do this again for my Silver truck
