    Hey guys,

It's been a long time since I've been on TW but I'm going to try to check it more often now that I have some more time.

Today, I wanted to talk about the cab mount on our 3rd gens. I am finally making the jump to 35s! The only issue is that I am rubbing currently with 285/75/17 (34s) at the cab mount, I do have a cab mount chop already but I am still rubbing there.

What we have here is a cab mount relocate which completely gets rid of the oem cab mount so there is absolutely nothing the tire can hit there. The cab mount through-bolt will still be there so the cab won't be shifting and won't be creating any issues.

This is not something new to our trucks but we saw a few things we could have improved so we did! We worked with our local company who makes the hybrid bumpers you see on our trucks today and here's what we came up with. It moves the cab mount completely out of the way of the wheel well and it has a gusset to add strength to the cab mount for when the truck takes impacts when off-road.

Check it out and let me know what you guys think! I'll be posting the progress in this post WITH PICTURES!

Looks like a nice piece however I would put some limited liability clause on your site regarding this item as statements like “so the cab won’t be shifting and won’t be creating any issues” don’t come back and bite you in the ass!

Never understood, how a person can make a decision, change their vehicle and then turn around and get mad / try to blame the company that manufactured the product that they decided to purchase and install.

obviously, if you decide to mod / delete your OEM cab mount, you change the integrity of the truck. That is on you.

Im currently considering this product. Either than or CMC 2.0.

Totally agree, if someone decides to change something on their truck from factory state to improve clearance and off-road capabilities then it's definitely on them.
