Before i get hit with the "Did you even do a search" replies, i just want everyone here to know, i did indeed search for this information. The problem with the search results that i turned up is that they weren't helpful to me.
I was trying to confirm weather or not i have the correct version of Entune or not on my radio. The information that i found while searching was kind of conflicting. Some guys say that if you don't have the shark fin, you don't have navigation. Some guys say that if you have extra buttons around your radio screen, you don't have navigation.

I have a 2015 SR5 V6 4X4 DCSB. My truck has the shark fin on top of the roof. Is there anyone out there who may be able to tell me HOW to confirm which version of the Entune radio that i have?
Also, i haven't been on here in a good while but i sure miss looking through all the topics in the 2nd gen forum back when this forum was booming. (before the turd gens came along :annoyed:)

Pop it out and look for a part number, then look up that number? Not familiar with these units so that’s all I got for ya.

I believe the shark fin is for satellite radio.

As much as I despise Entune, I'll recommend that first you download the Entune App to your phone, pair it, and I think that should give you what you need.

I can't confirm this, because this was my final solution for entune woes in my 2015:

Do you have the Owners Manual for the truck...and...the Entune manual? Pretty clear in the sound system manual.
mine is a '15 trd sport with the fin...Entune Plus in mine, no Nav feature. I'll have a look in the manual and get back.

My 2015 has a separate owner's manual for the audio-entertainment-nav system. In that I found a pic. If you don't have the manual you can download a pdf copy. I think I used the Google Tubes for mine, but I have seen links to them on TacomaWorld.

Mine's the Entune Audio Plus. I don't have navigation. I'm also pretty sure my shark fin is for Sat Radio.

I would think this info could be found in a menu on the radio itself but I couldn't find anything

My 2015 has the shark fin but did not come with navigation. I think it was just Entune basic or plus. My manual covered all the Entune options.

I bought a navigation unit off another member on here and plugged the shark fin into the nav port and it worked. The main difference between the two headunits is that the nav unit has a slot in the front for an SD card map.

The best way to assure that you have the most up to date version of entune is to get the app downloaded onto your phone. When you connect the app to your truck via bluetooth it will tell you if there is a firmware/software update. It will prompt you to make any updates and you will be all set.

But that would take all the mystery out of it.
