lots of folks say don’t buy the pro if you’re going to modify it. I modified the shit out of my pro. Yes, it’s a 2015 (the first and probably the best... ;) another discussion right??) but get what you want and what you’ll enjoy. GOOD LUCK!!

No. I can't post a vote here. I am biased because I have a pro. It is awesome.

Like others have said though, if you plan to mod, get an Off-Road. If you don't plan to mod, much, get the Pro. If the money doesn't matter, get the Pro. It's a great starting point for a very capable truck. The TRD tuned Fox suspension is great. If you want to go further than that, get the Off-Road and put beefier suspension on it.

I dunno about 285 but I am running 255/85 with bp51 and getting 19/20 at 5k feet elevation here on Utah. Mod away life is short haha

Are there any differences between the sport and off road? Sport has the option to get the leather/heated seat and sun/moonroof and premium package and it comes with the hood scoop that I like... is there any changes to the gearing or engine or pros or cons to the Sport vs Off-Road?

-Can’t leave stock alone and love to modify vehicles to your taste? TRD Off-Road

-Plan on leaving it stock and enjoy the fact that the amazing Fox shocks and suspension are factory engineered and fall under the bumper-to-bumper warranty? TRD Pro

I want to get a 3" lift on it (which ever I go with) and will upgrade the suspension either way. I also plan on getting TAKO2's in a 285. I originally wanted a pro (love the hood scoop look and features and voodoo blue), but you cant really modify a lot of it without losing the upgrades you pay for with the PRO

I definitely dont like leaving stock alone. haha that's why im thinking that I should give the sport a chance to look, cause im going to want to modify a lot anyways, and it is a little cheaper.

It will basically be a mean looking road princess but I do like camping and snowboarding with the occasional off road trails that Utah has to offer. I ride my motorcycle all summer and as long into the cold as I can, so it will be my winter main mode of transportation in the streets with random other summer usage

Pro if you are rich and off road if you are poor.

You can get the exact same premium options of Leather heated seats and Sunroof on the off road, the steeper gearing comes with the manual transmission.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. This was a growth from my original post comparing the pro to the offroad. I know the OR can also get the premium package, but just started looking into the sport and found it as an option there too. I dont want a manual for a truck, and am hoping to not have to mess with the gearing with a "smaller" lift and just 285's

The OR and Pro have a larger diff and a locker. Much more useful than a fake hood scoop.
