Honestly, I don't think Toyota will ever use the data against you, it will use the data in its own defense. Suggesting that they'd use it against you suggests they're going to try to frame you. If a court orders them to share it, they have to. If you're innocent it could help clear you.

You do realize that it’s not “transmitting” shit right it’s “receiving”. That’s why the antenna is there, to receive the information. Just because something has an antenna doesn’t mean it’s a transmitter. They also make receivers that use them.
