    Dilemma Help.
Hypothetically, if you were gonna upgrade from a 2009 , (A) would you go with the second year of the 3rd Gen ? or (B) try to find a clean 2014 - 2015 of the second Gen.? Forget the cost. Talking durability and dependability. V6 Auto

I'm no power user. But I was searching in my area for used Tacomas. I bought new because used prices were just nuts. Sure you may get some guy's mods. And I lot of you I would love your mods. But random modder? Same price as new? Made my decision easy.

Asking that in a what have you done to your 3rd gen today forum? I am sure you will get a lot of unbiased opinions here. Lol. Joking aside, a few real thoughts.
    1) there really isn't enough info to determine the reliability and dependability of the 3rd gen. Three years data just isn't enough. But we all know it's solid. Thats why we are all here. Just pick the one you like and move on.
    2) My opinion? If price isn't a concern you are comparing a 2 year newer truck that should have less miles. To a truck with 8 year old technology? If you can afford the newer there would have be something damming about it or a crazy good deal on the older to even make that a choice worth thinking about.

Good luck with whatever you pick and roll on.

Same thing here. Wasn't looking new. But for the deal i got it was a no brainer. Used cars are worth the buy. Used trucks??? Not around here. Unless you just are topped out at the price.

This is how Toyota should’ve done the frames from the get go. Oh then 3 hours of clay bar and washing to finish it off. Pretty pleased with outcome on this 2016 SR with 68k on the odometer.

The Leds on these are amber. No film. I have heard the film is just cosmetic and not effective

Why did you choose for the bed mount vs under the hood? I think the bed mount is probably more accessible and also a less harsh environment (not as hot) as under the hood. But, running power is probably more of an install challenge. Interested in your pros and cons.

That's slick. Liking the bed mount even more.
