Yeah it just sounds like a place of nightmares to me...then there are people like that asshole Youtube celebrity last year that filmed himself with one of the bodies or something like that and created a big stir.

 

Being in a rock band, from Seattle, in the 90s turned out to be a pretty bad life decision.

'Ten' is one of the greatest rock albums of all time IMO. One of the few albums that I can listen to every single song on and not feel compelled to skip one or more.

 

Well... Considering a lot of them have now, since, hung themselves, died in a pool of their own piss and shit overdosed, or blown the cap of their head off with a shotgun... not sure there's a lot of different perspectives here.

It makes it so you can use the old head phones with the newer phone with not headphone plug in thing

 

feeling bleh, had a former buddy flake on me for getting lunch today. He's been hounding me about meeting up for a while so we picked today then he turned around and said he didn't want to come to work today (he works down the street from me) because of traffic etc... he lives like 20 minutes away from here too so that's kind of a shit excuse, especially when I drive an hour + each way

Have had a weird vibe about our "friendship" for a while but I had the revelation that it really is one sided and if we did meet up the entire time would be spent talking about him and having him rant/rave at me. Can't even remember the last time he asked how I was or what I was up to; every time he reaches out its to blast me with 30 texts about some drama he's going through.

The real bummer in all of this is the realization that it pretty much exactly parallels my (lack of) relationship with my dad; he makes plans only to cancel them, totally drops the ball on putting any effort into interacting with me, and only reaches out when he needs attention and all of our interactions are focused on him.

I had a friend like that a few years ago that I've stopped talking to...we were great friends for a few years but then it got to where for 1 or 2 years I was always the one that hit him up to hang out. I decided I wasn't going to do that anymore and if he really wanted to hang out with me, he could text or call me for a change. Haven't heard from him since. Kind of sucks but it sucks more when you feel like a 'friendship' is totally one-sided.
