Decisions, decisions. I am a gamecock fan, but when Clemson is not playing THE USC, I pull for them. However I also like Auburn. This is a tough one for me, but i guess I'll have to say...GO TIGERS! Is that ambiguous enough?:D

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Its a blue out at the stadium for that game. well see how successful it will be without someone like coke giving out black shirts to everyone.

    I'll be there as well!

You know how I feel about gimmicks in college football. I hope your team uniforms don't get involved. I'll have to make lots of jokes... especially if it turns out poorly.

Bama is getting their "Stud" back at RB and Texas is on there 3rd RB. I don't like this new era of "let's change everything up" maybe it will work. I know we don't have a running QB but supposedly this guy (G. Gilbert) is the next Dan Marino (according to Mark May)......Texas needs to just pass the ball Ala (and no I'm not talking about the dude that is talked about in the Koran.....so calm down my muslim friends we don't need you guys to bomb TacomaWorld) Tech Style!

Should be a good game on Saturday, last time we went to Tech our NC hopes died.......this is not the case today but a win there would be sweet.

Bama has a cupcake walk on Saturday........Texas has one more in November (Fl. At. and I guess if you consider Baylor, Iowa St, Rice and Wy. then it would be a total of 5 cupcakes.....) I wonder who does our schedules.....need to get some SEC teams up in here! :D

    Not being mean...

Just saying... Gimmicks don't win games. Auburn hasn't done much of that crap. Fans can get in on it if they want. I've said before that I acutally liked the "All Auburn, All Orange" thing that's been going on down there. But that's more of an every-game theme rather than a one-game stunt.

My real problem is when the coaches try to get their team pumped up by breaking out all-black or all-red or all-blue uniforms. Auburn, like Alabama, is pretty traditional when it comes to uniforms. Hopefully that won't change Saturday. I heard a blue helmet was floating around the internet...

I've heard just blue jersey and pants.. white helmet.

I'm not saying gimmicks win games either, but 85k fans do give a team energy, and I think we have the talent to beat Clemson anyways.

Gotta admit, how wicked would it be to see bryant denny in ALL red or ALL white. i think its more of a display of fan dedication than a gimmick. It takes a lot to get 87k-100k+ to all do the same thing.

I agree with you on sticking to the basics. Maybe we'll pull an oregon this weekend and have like 8000 different possibilities of jerseys. Just saying...

Just saw a pic of what sounds like our helmets... they don't look as bad as i thought.

Plenty of traditionalists at Auburn tho hating on anything different at all.

Well my Jayhawks will be on tomorrow night on ESPN at 8pm Est. Who knows which team will show up. The one that lost to North Dakota State? Or the one that beat GT? Who knows. They play @ Southern Miss so it'll be a tough game to win. Hopefully they don't embarrass me too bad

Hey guys. Sorry I've been missing out on the convo. Busy working every freaking day of my life. Anyways, I have an upset I'd like to declare for the week. I'm going with Tennessee over Florida. The spread is Florida giving 14, I know they won't cover that, and I've just got a gut feeling that the Vols will win.

If my prediction is true, just imagine how wide open the East would be with South Carolina having the edge over a 3-0 Kentucky only bc they haven't began SEC play. WOW!

I agree. I was just thinkin about that earlier, actually. UT looked awesome the first half of the Oregon game...then they completely fell apart. Florida hasn't looked all that great at all so far. We'll see.
