    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
My response was actually a bit of dry humor mixed with a little bit of seriousness.

But... the way I see it is when you die of an overdose, hanging yourself, or blowing your head off, it's a reasonable assumption that you've made a bad life decision.

Life being the operative word here.

Maybe so, I also can't imagine the depth of pain and sorrow they must have fallen into to see that as the only reasonable way out of it.

Sound like you have him figured out. Up to you if you want to waste time with him. But I get it. I mean I wouldn't abandon the friendship, but I'd definitely keep my expectations low with that guy.
One thing I had no idea how little of it existed, is the ability to look at something from another's perspective. Isn't that like basic being a good human shii... Stuff???

Ya, I get what you're saying. But I also can't imagine the crass selfishness it would take to do that to your kids either.

Kinda sucks but sucks more to have a friend like that lol.
I love the friendships where even if it's been 10 years since you've talked or seen each other, that when you do see each other or talk it's like no time has ever passed and your still best of friends:D:cool:

eh this has just been many of a string of disappointments that I can think of. He has apologized before for not making time to meet with me or being unwilling to drive halfway or whatever but continues to do the same shit. I've let him off the hook too many times.

He's never been able to really relate either. I was going through a rough spot with work a year ago and he basically told me I should go start my own business and see how shitty I would have it to realize how good I had it then else I should suck it up and stop complaining

Got quieter as you were turning right. Passenger wheel bearing is my guess.

Really, figured a bearing would be just as obvious.

That's very true, when the weight shifted away from the passenger side the noise went away.

They changed the world in a short amount of time forever. Many people who make good decisions can't accomplish that. They changed my life in a good way and their drug abuse/death has steered me clear of hard drugs. I would say their "bad decision" has had a profound effect to many in good way.

Yeah, I did a concrete demolition job. Was pushing it, each of the piers weighed 150 pounds. ~2,400 lbs total. I was riding the bumpstops.
