The bed bolts came out with a little help from my improvised impact wrench (5 lb sledge to tap ratchet). The safe is also bolted to the bed liner and is under a Diamondback tonneau cover. Safe is from SecureIt

How did you get the washer off the bed bolt?

hand file. pretty easy to knock off those ridges, took about a minute per bolt - no big deal.

 

I will eventually be putting a second battery where the compressor would mount under the hood. Also, I do t want to have to open my hood to air up, or run remote quick connects around the truck. Expedition Essentials makes a wiring harness extension that made the wiring very easy. Just ran it along the frame rail.
Only con was the added expense of the extension

 

I might have some time to help out on Monday. Did you buy the bolt on ones or weld on?

Nice! Off subject, but did you add the tracks to your shell, or were they factory installed? Any details/pictures would be appreciated as I'm looking for some tracks for my Leer XQ cap.

 

They look a tad thinner then my caliraised, I like that.

the track were factory installed. I want to add a rack at some point. I don’t have any good picture now.
