Do what? My 35’s fit pretty well and only rubbed the inner fender/ firewall barely at full bump. Granted I beat the shit out of them to fit like that.

You can drive without em right? Just need to seal off where they connect to trans? Or is there more to it than that

Well I snapped an axle on a trail last time the truck was out, so the stub shaft is still inside the front diff, and the outer cv still bolted to the hub. You need to seal the diff somehow and bolt the outer to the hub to drive without a shaft in place.

Oh, yeah I’d say so. I just lived with the little rubbing I had for the last 2 years lol. Tubbing will result in no rubbing. Beating the shit out of the inner fender with a bfh will get you close though. Depends on the LT kit and how far forward it pushes the wheel

I think the overall power loss and damage on drivetrain at that point wild make 40’s a no for me
And I still haven’t decided what to do on my steering. I want to do QMS swingset but he isn’t sure he can keep my AC

Drivetrain should be fine, aren’t you dropping a Currie F9 in the rear? Forget what front kit you’re going with but I thought it uses Dana 44 hubs and axle parts doesn’t it? Power loss can be dealt with in gearing, or adding a supercharger. Steering can be done with a modified tundra rack swap. @Basikbiker has made a few and is offering them now, or you can go with solo, but I’d support the local member since he’s a good guy.

Yeah you'll just miss the torque from an 8 cyl, but no reason the axles couldn't take 40's if you're not rock bouncing.

Camburg full floater with 35 spline
    Ford 9” trutrac
    Dana 44 front hubs
5.29 nitro ring and pinion for the front
    Dirt designs links
Gonna do OVtune twin turbo when it releases (maybe it’ll blow up and justify the LS)

it’s all just sitting here waiting on the Fab/roll cage/back half/ engine cage/ J arm upper swap

really not sure I want to do the tundra rack cause I feel it might be harder to replace if the few people modifying them vanish but I do agree it’s an option

Or build a tube-buggy and put a VIN plate from a salvaged first gen on it...
