Let's See Your Dogs!!

Worn out, we moved into a new house yesterday and they have a larger yard (by about 60%) to explore as well as a climate controlled back porch to stay in.
While we’re at home we leave the door open from the back porch into the house and they are learning the new house, last night we locked them out of the yard, they could access the house and the back porch and Smokey (black) who is still skittish about certain things (we rescued him almost 1 year ago) slept on my bed with me, and Athena slept throughout the house because Smokey took her spot.

 

I'm sorriez I stole moms pillow but these new floors are hard. Your not mad at me are youze?

 

Fell asleep while eating? Or just plopped down, and that's where his head landed?

 

Mama went outside, so they're on guard duty.

 

Buzz gets mad as hell if he cant go outside when we do.

 

just fell asleep with head in the bowl. he doesn't eat in the car.

 

Update on Sammie: ultrasound did not show a tumor. It did show she has a longer than normal spleen and kidneys are positioned lower than most dogs.

Introducing: Roxy!

She was a stray in St. Louis and I got her while I was in the Air Force. She did all her initial obedience training through the military k9 trainer on base (he had a side business) and I used to bring her to work with my sometimes. I worked in Public Affairs and made training videos and things like that and because she was pretty well trained, we used her in the videos from time to time. She'd also come to PT with me and do squadron runs with my wing & office pretty much weekly. So when I got out, they let me bring her in for an unofficial official military photo.



Now that I'm out of the military and back home in the PNW, she's my hiking buddy. I couldn't ask for a better dog.
