Come to Benicia. They are EVERYWHERE right now. Seriously. There are missing posters all over the neighborhood for cats and small dogs From the coyotes. But these damn turkeys just strut their stuff all over town. It’s as if the coyotes are too afraid of them or somthin.

Right on. I'm mostly there. Got the BAMF skids, all of them and a softopper. I am getting close to locking up and regearing, but first I need to upgrade to 35s before I regear (proof of concept I can make them fit) so currently I am working on rerouting air intake, cutting fenders, gusset spindles, marlin LCA brace, and getting ready to tub a bit if necessary. I did my cab mount chop myself at first with the BAMF plates, but recently had Milo redo it aggressively. Highly recommend him. I have been thinking about the driveshaft too since yalls rubicon trip. Didnt consider to just do the rear, assumed you do the whole thing. Good to know it can be cheaper than I thought. I plan on doing that too.

Here are photos of my CMCs. First one I did myself. Second one is Milo. He is great and will be my go to guy when needed.

Any ballpark of pricing? My truck hasn't been aligned in over 15 years. I've changed almost every single piece of suspension, including converting it to 4WD and it's all out of whack now. I have to hold my steering wheel 5 degrees right to go straight, and I'm getting a terrible whooping sound from the front right tire.

Last time I paid about $280 I think. I gave them specs I wanted to achieve and they came as close as physically possible with the components I have on the truck. Great people who know how to align anything with wheels on it.

Hot damn that's a lot of money. What kind of specs were you looking for and why?

As much positive caster as possible (+5*) for the larger tires. With my aftermarket UCA’s and a few other fiddly bits, they got there. I had a seized lower cam bolt last time I was there that they replaced. They also suggested getting my cam tabs gussets or replaced. I have the kit from Total Chaos to replace them, I just haven’t had the time. Another project for another day.

Anyone want a free ticket to TepuiFest? It’s this weekend and I can’t make it. Hate to see it go to waste and can’t find anyone to buy it.

For wheelbearings, you really need to take the driveshaft out to know for sure. Toyota bearings will make a lot of noise long before they're no longer viable.

If it's a tire issue.. rotate and see if the noise travels.

    Why the driveshaft?

Because you won't be able to feel the play of a bad bearing w/ the driveshaft in situ.

Drive shaft can hide some of the hints. Mine didnt make normal signs of wear,, could tell something was possibly wrong with them.
Decided to replace, when I replaced them, could feel the movement in one of them.
