    Greetings from Knoxville, TN. I have joined this forum because I am in the process of buying a 2008 Tacoma from a friend. The truck is in pretty good condition both mechanically and aesthetically. It does, however, have a few issues one of which is a shuttering in the transmission as it shifts into second gear. In searching for help on this issue, I ran across the excellent article posted by Fortech on December 5, 2009. I was impressed and decided to join Tacoma World. I look forward to help on any future issues that I find and will do so
    with the knowledge that many of you have experienced and solve similar problems.

    Welcome to TW. I joined a couple of months ago in anticipation of purchasing a 2020 pro. Finally was able to order and am impatiently waiting. I now have a new addiction of reading TW several times a day.
    And yes, most of our injuries are due to stupidity.
