I have a 16 sport and at around 80 mph I can hear a howling noise. It is not a whistle it’s more like something vibrating from the air movement. It is not coming from under the truck so I don’t think it’s the front diff. I thought it was the hood scoop but the last time it happened the noise was moving from left to right. It sounds like it is coming from somewhere around the windshield or mirrors. Anyone find what’s causing this?

It's the 80 mph wind going against your thin windshield.

Check the weather stripping all of it! I heard some had issues with the door stripping causing some wind noise effects.

Its the side mirrors. Mine does it and addressed it to the dealership. They explained at the right cross wind and speed itll howl, its a fault in the design production. I thought it was a poorly sealed windshield at first.

I did notice the the plastic part of the windshield trim is not flush against the windshield. I wonder if that could cause it. I may fill that gap with something,if it fixes it I’ll update

Well at least if it can’t be fixed the radio drowns it out.
