Yeah, now that I’ve read the whole thread, I do have problems with the transmission. It like...shifts and stuff. Sometimes it shifts like 6 times, other times it shifts like 5 times. What in the hell is going on here Toyota?

    Yer lucky! Mine doesn’t shift.

Once mine gets to 6th speed, it is like glued to it.

It isn’t a typo if I spell it like that repeatedly.

Not all marriages are made in heaven. I've used ShiftSense Pro with some luck and at ~125$ on the used market it's pretty simple trial. I also drive more aggressively around town than my wife so the higher rpms style works for me and i don't do 80 because I plan to retire alive someday. Good luck with your next adventures.

No. The death process starts at 80 mph and is complete when you hit 0 mph in under 1 second.

I had a Ram/ Hemi loaner while they were putting a new frame under my 2019 Tacoma truck ( slight accident ) Had it almost 2 months. Nicest truck I've ever driven, got the same mileage as the Tacoma, pulled my 3000lb cargo trailer like it wasn't even back there.....no hunting for gears. 70-80 mph, quiet as hell inside, great infotainment system. Can not wait till my 3 year lease is up!

Good! (Either way it’s a splat!) on impact. In the 200 ms it takes for the air bag and seatbelt retractors the body travels many meters and the truck does not.

What if I told you there are highways where the speed limit is 80 mph?

I have no problem with going fast. If someone isn’t comfortable doing 80 mph, then it’s a good idea that they don’t. Shit goes south quickly at high speed.

But if you somehow make it to 88, you see some serious shit.
