Cleaned throttle body, now engine revs around 2k RPM. So I replaced MAF and IACV and most vacuum lines. Anybody ever done this before?

Why did u replace all that? Most of the time you just need an idle relearn from the manufacturer. Let the dealer do your next decarb service.

High idle is expected after cleaning the throttle body. Mine idled at ~1200 -1500 rpm after I took mine off and cleaned it. Normally the ECU will readjust after a day or so of driving and it will go back to normal.

Then again it might be as simple as a vacuum leak.

How did you clean the throttle body, completely removed it or just sprayed some crap in?

What running condition were you attempting to fix by cleaning the tb?

One issue that also happens is the throttle body butterfly after many miles will wear a spot
on the throttle body inside wall were it touches. When the throttle body is dirty the carbon fills
in the low spot. When you clean the dirt out now you have a gap inbetween the butterfly and the wall
that lets air sneak by that makes the idle higher.

Only fix for this is the have the throttle body bored and new butterfly or new throttle body

If you can see a gap inbetween the butterfly and the wall after cleaning ,that’s your problem.
Your butterfly should be tight like this with no gap
    .

This is a common problem After cleaning the throttle body

Make sure the IAC port is clean. I cleaned my tb only once and crud went down in there and had a high idle. Removed IAC and cleaned everything and it idled perfect.

I don't have any issues, but I would love to send my throttle body off to the site below. I've read on this forum and the 4Runner forum some really great reviews.

I had this same issue when I removed and cleaned mine. I didn't see it in your post and maybe you did this, but disconnect the battery for about 10 min.
I did this and drove on the highway, and in town. Afterwards, it settled down to the normal idle.

The photo above is what my throttle body looks like AFTER maxbore bored it.

Highly recommend, but he works on 1st come 1st server so it took 3 weeks from shipping date to return shipping date for me

Curious if you could tell any difference afterwards besides fixing the idle issue?

Yes I could just a little but that’s because I have a supercharger so it’s letting a little more air to pass at high rpms

    If not superchargered probably not

interesting, that makes sense though for higher mileage trucks. Might be what the OP is experiencing too since his is so high.

That or a vacuum leak if he forgot to reattach a line or one of them cracked, gasket between the TB and intake failed, etc.

At 240,000 or so miles the throttle body on mine was cleaned one time when replacing the IAC valve that failed completely .

The older I get the more I like if it is not broke leave it be.

So on a high mileage vehicle maybe...
    a. Just stick to spray without the wiping out?
    b. Wipe out but avoid the "carbon seal"?
    c. Leave completely alone?
