So I've been debating between these two recently and think I need inputs. The 2020 Off Road I'd be wanting one with the premium and advanced tech package so they both come out around the same price.

If you were to buy one between the two which would you go for and why?

Currently I keep going back to a 2019 Pro because nothing from the 2020 looks too impressive to me.

Definitely the pro. Its the same price and you're getting fox suspension, which I really like.

If you plan on modding it nothing in the Pro is gonna last and you can get leather seats in the OR and carplay which for me is a big reason I'll be changing out my headunit. But if you want something to leave stock and be functional the pro is where its at.

Ah yeah I probably should of clarified that too. I plan on pretty much instantly doing a lift, tire and gear upgrade. So as far as it having the Pro suspension isn't really a deciding factor.

Aside from being able to sell the fox shocks, then there's really no advantage to getting the pro, besides more compliments from strangers.

Get the OR if you are swapping suspension anyway.

IF it were me, I would get the Pro and be done with it. Since 2016 Tacomas pretty much look the same. I expect the 2020 not to change all that much.

I was in the same boat as you. Either get a 2020 OR or get a 2019 Pro. I ended up going with the Pro because I don't plan on doing any upgrades to it other than a few cosmetic things. If i was planning on lifting it more and swapping the tires out, I probably would have went with the OR. I got the Pro for an amazing price

the only reason to get a pro is if you plan to leave it stock, if you plan to mod, get the 2020 OR, which includes apple carplay/ AA. Is the 2019 pro new or slightly used/demo?
