It's not meant to be offensive. I'm not even slightly worked up. You're just really good at it. It's more a compliment than anything.

Here are my RCI sliders. I don't think the shorter length is going to make that much of a difference. Pick your lines wisely...

I just built my sliders and have a few points. First, every slider manufacturer sucks at taking pictures. All of them. I've looked at hundreds of pictures over the last few months and they are all terrible Instagram angles that give you no idea of function. Second, going longer in the front sucks because of the pinch weld. I'm cutting and folding my pinch weld to get more distance in the front. In the rear there isn't shit to bolt to. You can make it longer but with no support its gonna bend up into your pinch weld or rocker. That being said 80-81" is pretty easily doable

As for this situation, I'm gonna have to agree with Joecova - more pictures and actual dimensions could have avoided this whole mess, especially if they are shorter than everything else on the market. Sure OP could call every manufacturer and ask for pictures/dimensions/etc, but I haven't done that for anything I've bought for my truck.

I’m curious how they plan on shipping these since yours will be longer than mine. I was told if the sliders were any longer then they would have to ship using a pallet and will cost a lot more.

My sliders are similar. I wheel my truck alot, and have dropped off ledges onto slider with no issues. Thr kickout is close enough that youll still clear the outside edge of your tire pivoting unless you have nonsensical wheels.

Just wheel it. No naturally occuring formation is going to somehow ruin your truck because you dont have an extra couple inches of slider.

    It's complicated.
Mine arrived cushion-wrapped & strapped together, on a single custom-sized pallet, which I picked up at the FedEx Freight yard.

The pallet fit the bed of the truck, with the tailgate down; and fit easily between the wheelwells. FedEx loaded it into the back of my truck.

    Total weight was 175lbs. Dimensions: 72" x 22" x 15"

Cost from Loveland, CO to Portland, OR. was $159.

This is a non-issue. Making a problem out of nothing at all. Until you have proof of damage, due to missing a few measly inches, the argument is moot and speculation at best. I have confidence that my RCIs will protect my rocker panels in the event of a dropping off a shifting rock.

Didn’t know there would be extra charge for shipping over what i already paid for DCLB shipping. I just called RCI and was able to cancel my order. I explained that i found out that the length of the DCLB slider is only 88”, RCI CS said its 89”. To which I politely said I was hoping for around 95” length. Looks like I’m leaning towards @CaliRaisedLed 0 degree DCLB slider.

I would have gladly paid $159 extra to protect the entire length of my truck.

I'd like to see where you damaged your truck, due to a few missing inches of slider. Only a small percentage of folks are going to wheel their trucks hard enough to require wheel to wheel length on their sliders.
