Drove by a wild fire in the eldorado Forest, hotshots everywhere trying to head it off. Tonight I’ll be camping down by eagle lake trail and tomorrow doing some wheeling and exploring around there. The more the merrier if anyone wants to join!

My wife and I were there in October 2016, took almost the same pic. Beautiful scenery there.

    ^^^^THIS

Disneyland for ... us. Big mistake to pass it up.

Monitor Pass on the way over, near Markleeville.

Near Mammoth, Laurel Lake, quick access, easy, beautiful. You can camp up there. I proposed there...and you might hit the last of fall colors in some areas!

    Then east of Bishop, Bristlecone....

    Descending Silver Creek.

Lundy Canyon camp, near Mono Lake

Hey Mark, is there any piece of gear you couldn’t live with out or wish you had besides the RTT

It's already been mentioned. Living here is truly living the dream. If your dream is low pay and plenty of outdoor shit to do. lol

Psst. It's Silver Canyon and it's way better to go up it then out Wyman. There's a whole lot of other areas up there that nobody ever visits. Well, almost nobody. lol

That's my plan. Talk it up like it's the best place in the US, which it might be. Then get all these folks to move here. Thereby driving up my already over-priced homes value. Wait 20 years and retire. Sell home and move to Mexico. Plus, even if the trails get crowded my rig will go where not many others can. lol

Climbing all day Sunday but Saturday afternoon/eve we're doing the art walk thing. Rumor has it that the distillery is going to have a New Zealand food truck that does meat pies. It's an Australian and New Zealand thing but they are frikkin awesome. Shoot me a text if you want to meet up.
