I haven’t damaged it yet. However if there’s room for error chances are it will happen.

Read through this thread. Quite a few examples of how it can happen.

Those posts are just speculation. I still haven't seen any rocker panel damage due to RCI slider use. Pics man, we need carnage pics! Wait, there are none.

What's the unsupported length at the rear? I'd be concerned with that section flexing up into the rocker upon use.

I think something fundamental people are missing, likely because they dont wheel, but the length directly affects the hoop of the slider and its position when it comes to the body panel. Sure we are measuring the square tube but at the end of the day most of the real concerning impacts come from the side of the slider

RCI has 15% off the sliders right now... maybe that road trip should be moved up fast!

Yep. That whole length of demello is unsupported last time I saw a pic of them off a truck. So instead of a rock you get slider all up in your wheel well.

EWIZ have a Fabrication shop ADD a an extended kickout to the back of your sliders, and they will look great !!
The front of your sliders is fine.

Sigh. Again, serial wheeler reporting in- unless you slide sideways into a 4" log that is perpendicular to your truck, youre fine. Believe me, if i could fuck my frame or rockers by missing any length of sliders, I would have.

Or just keep fueling whatever fire this thing is turning into...

What kind of rocks are you planning to be traversing? Never had an issue and my Mobtown sliders are very similar.

the rear looks longer which I would think is the issue; when you are sliding along a rock or log and have to transition to the tire you don’t want a gap

Maybe so, this is the first I’ve seen a complaint about them.

Haaaa. Sorry. 15% off the price. Sorry, I should have been more specific.
