Why not offset control arms instead of CMC?

That’s a good thread. He mentions what you said right in the first paragraph :anonymous:

The RCLT kit will consist of lowers, uppers, spindles, and a steering rack, maybe more I'm unaware of. All completely custom and one of a kind. Current long travel offerings of just the arms are around $4k. Then take into account the spindles and steering rack, and the fact there's no competition.

That’s Right, I forgot about the spindles and such. I wonder if you would need their uppers or if any aftermarket UCA would work. It also seems like they’ll be offering 3 different types, one to push the wheels 2” forward, a Long travel kit, and HD kit. So I wonder how they’d all be priced, I’m assuming the first would be the cheapest which is the one I’m most interested in, but I guess we will see. All things considered I could see the price being steep..

I still wouldn't pay $10k though, but I guess the benefit of this over SAS is you keep all your ABS stuff and able to go back to stock if need be. Definitely less permanent.

Still way cheaper then an sas, and the benefit of doing it in your garage in a weekend, reversibility, etc. I definitely understand the perks. Don’t see myself doing it but I think it’s a cool option.

Been thinking about up-gauging to 33s and have noticed about less than 5% of owners with 33s claim they don't rub, even under full load and articulation. Hmmm...:fingerscrossed:? The fortunate ones I guess.

Only way you’re running 33s with no rubbing is if you go a skinny tire. 255s on stock wheels will fit with no issues. It’s a very popular choice.
