So my noise was from the tires. They were severely worn. Once I rotated them, the noise went to the rear axle.

Guess which one is the front tire.

Lol seriously? I’d expect better from a dealer.

The left tire. Uneven shoulder wear.

They wouldnt dare remove the coils to inspect the plugs without charging you a half hours labor first.

You got it. I’m going to run these for another year and ditch them for better tires. New wheels too, the TRD OR wheels have lost their appeal to me. The tucked in backspacing outweighs the pros to me.

    What wheels you thinking of?

I will be tire shopping next year too. Gonna be down to the Cooper AT3's or Goodyear Trailrunner AT's. Also going up a size to 265-75-16

Since I’m basic I’m going for the SCS Ray 10’s in Bronze. Damn sexy. And they support manual hubs.

What tire size ya got now? I’m running that size now and they look comically small with the lift.

I found the alignment sheet from my auto tech school. I didn’t adjust anything, but here are the readings from a Hunter laser alignment machine.

@Kwikvette Take your PreRunner driveshaft to these guys. It’ll save you the trouble of finding the right length driveshaft. The cut the old flared tube off, and welded new 2 5/8” tubing plus balanced it. I drove there in 4HI as a FWD.

They do look good, I will admit. But they arent as cool as they once were, now that it seems everyone on here has a set.

I think if I was to buy another set of wheels, those Discount tire Level 8 Mk 6's would be at the top of my list. The American Racing Ventura is one of my favorite aftermarket wheels, but they havent been made for years. They look especially good on older wranglers. 7497610007_large.jpg

Coops FTW - go larger and skinnier while you're at it

hahaha yeah. Big time. Save the cash for something else (on-board air or a 2nd batt), go with the 4Runner wheels.

How long did they have the truck on the lift?
