No fog lights or switch on 2020 SR access cab

How hard would it be to replace the turn indicator lever with one that has a fog light switch? Then add fog lights? My truck just has black plastic covers where the fog lights should be. I'm not sure if there's even wiring already in place for fog lights. It seems to me a truck should come with them standard.

 

Plenty of aftermarket kits on eBay and elsewhere for a dedicated switch you can put in one of the blanks above the useless cubby on the left side of dash. $65-75 bucks and it’ll include foglights, bezel, wiring, and switch

 

adding the light with a switch is easier than adding via the turn signal.

 

I was able to add the factory foglights and factory switch to my 2019 SR 2.7
It was prewired because the truck came with the convenience package.
