What kit did you use? There are a million on Amazon and I'm "third party seller" phobic. It's my next EZ mod.

Just drove 4.5 hours. Stopped once for food and gas. First one was mostly interstate. I was running 75-80 mph averaged about 18 mpg

Next one was on a two lane road no traffic. Speed limits were from 35-65mph. Averaged about 20mpg

I’ve noticed similar results. Seems that the best mileage is when you keep RPMs below 1500, which ironically seems to be about 65 on the highway. If you soft peddle it around town at <1500 I seem to see much better mileage. Around 21 on average. You’re probably at 2000-2500 at 75. I’m sure this is by design by Toyota. Just my experience/ observations.

No problem! It also makes horn relocation easy, I busted one of mine so ordered similar replacements from Amazon. I used Rigid R-Series-46 lights, I think they are considered a 6" round, but you could easily run 7" or maybe 8", a pair of 6" bars, or any combination. The KC's are sweet!

Stuff with some other black things
I washed, detailed, and waxed it yesterday. I used the MeGuire’s Hybrid Ceramic spray. Put on 3 coats. I wanted to have a little extra for the winter. You can still put wax on top of this stuff. Took the wife to go get ice cream last night after dinner. This morning I noticed I now have dent in the tailgate of my truck. WTF. I guess my fat ass should not have gone for ice cream. Damn.

Stop and go traffic around the house...I’m lucky to get 16 mpg. Of course I have a heavy foot but hell I drove a 1987 corolla for 25 years that couldn’t get out of its own way. And I ALWAYS have to be the quickest when the red light turns to green!

That’s why I had mine wrapped. Easier for me to pay the guy $80. I probably could have done it myself but I’m too lazy. But I have a Sso Slimline bumper coming so it’s a moot point now.

Sorry to hear about your tailgate mod. Hope it sounds worse than it is. Should be an easy albeit costly fix. On the bright side if you have to have a dent I can't think of a better place to get one. Minus bumper damage it seems as though it may have been a shopping cart that was the culprit.
