Saw a guy with a GoFastCamper yesterday and chatted with him a bit. He raved about it being a game changer. I remembered seeing them online and balking at the price. Couldn’t remember how much $$ exactly.

Since I got hurt skydiving on Easter I have not jumped in 6 months. It is amazing how much your bank account grows when expensive hobbies take a backseat. So with a good chunk of cash in hand, I revisited their website.

Yeah. Fuck that. They are cool. But not $6500 cool. I was thinking $3500-4000 range.

Dude was unloading equipment. Did not really look at it but it struck me as high end photo/video stuff. So could be a business expense for him doing wildlife photography.

Yeah but i did all that stuff on my own for practically the cost of parts and a case of beer! almost time for my 60k maintenance interval and i wont be going to dealer at all. Just take the whole weekend and thoroughly lube, inspect, drain and fill.

Sounds like you just should have gotten a T4R and modded a little with that mpg.

Lol god no, those things are even worse mpg, outdated interior and not much interior room in comparison.

Don’t get me wrong I think 4runners are bad ass, just not what I’m looking for. Plus then I would be compelled to mod it and wheel it if I got one.

Well, I finally took my ham technician test today and passed. Is anyone in here a general class? I am thinking about trying to get mine before the end of the year.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Mine are Husky Floor Liners. But they use the same attachment mechanism. Sorta funny story... My brother drives a 2nd gen. He works in a coal mine and routinely is rather dirty when he leaves work. Especially with his boots... A lot of blackish muck if it was a rainy day. So he always has a folded up towel on top of his flor mats. He took it in for service, and when he went leave, the towel was neatly folded and on the seat. He walked back in to complain and was told that having a towel on the floor was not allowed, and that if he ever brought it back in for service with a towel on the floor that they would not service his truck.

My brother walked over to the manager (who he knows), and told him what the advisor just told him. I guess he got his ass chewed, cause any time my brother goes back, that advisor will personally remove the towel, bring it inside, and hang onto it until the truck is done and then personally place it back on the floor mat!

I bought the plugs for my 60K and started to do them myself... There is a metric shit ton of disassembly required on the 3.5. After an hour, cut up knuckles, and not even one plug changed, I said fuck it.
