finally got my toytec ultimate kit installed

So my truck is finally at the shop getting the ulitmate kit put on. Haven't seen it in person yet but the shop sent me a pic. They we alittle confused with the light racing ucas on the passenger side. They cut the bolt. So I gotta wait till Toyota delivers a new bolt. But whatever. I'll have to post more pics when I get a chance. Now what specs should I tell the alignment shop to use? Also I did the sway bar relocate and the differential drop, is there any other tweaks I should do or any other issues I may come across with a 3" lift?

i wouldnt give the shop any numbers. If its a good alignment shop they should be able to align it no problem. Let them do their thing. If it isn't right then take it back.

 

^ gotcha on the alignment thing. I'm guessing they will be able to get into proper specs since I got the aftermarket uca on. When I had the 5100s at 2.5 on my 2006 they could never get it right but then again I was running the factory uca. Yeah I can't wait to drive it. I hope I don't have any vibe and or wandering issues

 

UPDATE: so i finally got it home and quick snapped a few shots of course it's rainy so i'll take more when i get it washed ect...i didn't get a very accurate measurement due to the fact my drive is all bumpy and stuff....but it seems like it's sitting around 39-40" all around ...i didn't really get the drive it around much cause i need to get an alignment done...it sure feels so high compared to the 2.5" 5100s i had on my 2006....i'll have to take it out and really get a feel for the new way it drives....

^ yep that's the size. Before the tires looked huge took up most the wheel well. Now they look so tiny with the lift on.

Maybe I missed it.. what do you have yer coilovers set at and which leafs did ya get? Yer set up looks real good but I'm still up in the air over whether to go with the Toytech lift or Icon.

 

I have the 2" aal in the rear and the fronts are set at what they came factory which I believe is a full 3". I forgot to get measurments before hand to see exactly how much lift I got. Maybe it's my imagination but when I drove it home it felt like the nose was up but when looking from the side the truck sits level

Looks good man, love the wheels. I have a question though...if you're going straight up to 3" lift in the front, wouldn't a more cost effective route have been the OME lift kit? Not trying to imply that the ULK was the wrong choice, just wondering about your rationale.

I have the same color truck with billies and 265 70 17 they fill the wheel well like you said i was gonna lift mine glad i see yours and know what mine is going to look like! and I dig the rims was gonna go black with mine but wasnt sure seeing yours made my decision to powder coat thx sick lookin rig BTW

 

Actually I was dead set on getting the OME kit, but I got the ulk and the light racing ucas from some guy off toyotanation for 1200 shipped. Everything was brand new in the boxes. He bought them to put on his taco but then he sold it. I thought that was too good of a deal to pass up so I jumped on it.

Thanks guys for the compliments. I didn't have it on a level surface to get an accurate measurement so I'll have to check that out. I emailed toytec and they told me the co are set at 3" from factory

So since I never gone this high are there any important things to keep an eye out for? Like any particular parts that are more stressed now that I should inspect for damage now and then? Like I said I haven't really got to drive it yet so I haven't been able to see if I have any vibes yet. I will say one thing I can feel every little bump in the road now and the truck kinda wanders slightly when I hit them but I'm guessing that from it not being aligned right?
