what are good and bad tires for a tacoma?

got tacoma 4 door trd off road v6 05 lifted like 2 inches and 16'' wheels should i go bigger or those tires are fine?

 

well 16inch is your wheel dia not tire size. but a 16 inch rim isnt bad for any size tire you want i imagine

 

what is the size of the tire? you can find this on the sidewall of the tire itself, in metric or in standard form.
with a 16 inch wheel with minimum 4.5 inches of backspacing and 3 inches of lift you can go with a 33 inch tire with minor trimming.
that's what most people on here run with no worries

all ive ever had on my taco are BFG mudders(BFG km 2's are next) but i like 15" rim because of all the tire you get(with 33's)

but 16" let you get 4.5 backspacing with other probelms

 

Good : All-terrain tires

Bad: Summer only tires

(X-runners are not real trucks.... theyre not real anything actually)

 

Can't run 15"s on 2nd gens

 

What type of driving are do you intend to do? Are looks a huge factor or would you just like something functional?

 

duratracs great for places in the us that have an honest to goodness winter. good year mt with kevlar good for the rest. grabbers are supposed to be the shit in the dessert and in the drier climates. basically it depends on where you drive how you drive and what your expectations are.

 

What problems will you get from a 16" rim?
