    Well, I put an air filter in it. The old one was filthy (to my eyes). What's the fabric panel inside from the air filter? That looks kind of dirty too.

    Does anyone know much about the tacoma rear diffs? I have a 2008 with no rear locker so the 8.4" diff but has 8inch ring gears i believe. I recently purchased the housing and elocker out of a 2010 tacoma 8" diff. I was wondering if i could swap my ring gears onto the 8" diff with the locker and then install the entire locking housing into my 8.4" diff, Has anyone done anything similar, thanks guys

    RC Vertex 3” adjustable c/o’s w/ resis, RC UCA’s and RC 2.5 adjustable rears w/ resis. TRD Pro Black wheels wrapped in 285/75 R16 BFG AT’s. Nitro 4.88’s KD Max tune
    I purchased my Taco used and the previous owner had done all the suspension mods: 2.5 Icons with 700# springs, Total Chaos UCA's and rear OME Dakar HD's with 2.0 Icons with reservoirs. The problem is, the truck rode really stiff and had too much lift in the rear (2.75"). My plan...

    Modified the OME Dakar leaf packs: Removed one leaf (third down from the top) and the larger overload spring. The goal was to reduce the rear lift, which I did (1 inch lower) and a reduction in the spring rate. The initial evaluation is, the ride will be much better. I'm reducing the front coilover preload this morning.
