The dent is up high by the tailgate handle. It’s not that bad, but how in hell can you get a dent up there. I guess someone with a lift truck or Jeep.

Sold my previous car for $40k, which paid off the Tacoma and had left over cash for these mods. So, my wife was OK with me spending this money. Now that I burned through the extra cash, only small mods for me going forward.

Idk how mine happened, but if someone spit on it...someone’s ass would be whooped. Just not sure now-a-days if it would be them or me. HaHa

Overland Unlimited and @CaliRaisedLed have paired up to raise money to fight Breast Cancer.
Overland has t-shirts (both men's & women's) for sale with the proceds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. @CaliRaisedLed will be matching the donations. As if that wasn't enough CaliRaised will enter you in a random drawing for a pair of sliders or $500 store credit.
It's a great cause. Go to Overland and check it out.
    I'm in!

That's what I said until I backed into (long story) a tree. $806 later I'm the owner of a FabFours bumper. The Mrs. was OK with it because she knows how much I love my Tacoma. Putting all that plastic back on didn't make sense to her. Jeez I love that woman!

Several weeks ago I spoke of my latest mod. Been a little busy lately but finally found the time to snap a few pics.

    Edit:
Yes the tailgate does open and close with the grill attached. I should have taken a picture both ways. o_O
Forgot to mention that the cooking surface is stainless steel.
For anyone interested you can Google Pilot Rock or R J Thomas for more information.

What about the heat from the grill, will it hurt the tailgate or lights?

Welcome back and good to see you on TW. Hope things are improving and that the wife is resting more and feeling better. You had better be caught up on your chores or else you may get in trouble. :boink::D

Want to try and wrap mine too but not sure whether to do it on or off the truck. Heard it's a pain to get off but not sure how to get a clean straight cut by leaving it on. Decisions decisions. :notsure:

Thank you. Yup tailgate opens with the grill attached. Going to fab an L-shaped aluminum heat shield that fits on the post just below the grill. I don't think it's needed but just to be safe I'll make one anyway.

That’s sweet, serious grilling and tailgating!

You can get one of these after you’re done.
