Yes I know that spot and he loved it there too. That's a great idea. Thanks

@flightmech08 sorry to hear about your son. I couldn't even imagine going through that.
Off the beaten path would definitely be a good idea. As Norilsk had suggested, the shore west of the beach would be the safest bet.

Thanks for the offer. I have a full roll and another with just a shed's worth off of it. Should have enough for 800sq'.

I remember shooting the shit with you and your bud around the campfire. Heard a few of your stories about nonsense you two had done. One I remember involved some regret about standing in a campfire for fun

Bugged you when you left about your Coopers if you liked 255's.

Please accept my condolences for your families loss.

Sorry to hear man. Terrible thing to bed to go through.

I'd say somewhere off the beaten area like others have suggested. Maybe some ashes in black lake or around there.

I would certainly hope there's no one that goes there that is that much of a fucking cunt to vandalize a memorial.

Picked up and self delivered some noise makers. Spotted a rare @masaip16 sans taco on a back road by sheer co-inki-dink.

    Looks like your nickname,
    Shveet!

You'll need to keep it oiled as the blueing won't stop rust from salt.

I'd just tape up the holes and use a brush with either POR15 or Tremclad on the backside. Before the snow flies give the backside a coat of oil just in case.

    BTW

It'll look good with your new vanity Lic Plates.... Hehehe...

I know bluing only helps on a minor scale for rusting, but it's also something i don't think anyone has done to one of these bumpers so it'll stick out somewhat.

thanks for the recommendation for the 2. I might go with the Tremclad over POR15 (also never heard of POR15 before now other than the odd reference to it) also since every Hamiltonian is proficient with a rattle can :D
any reason not to clear coat it?

If you POR15 you will still need to paint it as POR15 doesn’t hold up to UV light.

But the onlything that'll be hit by sunlight is what i blue'd though. But it's good to know por15 doesnt hold up against UV (but then again, nothing really does)

Clear coat will work well except that when it scratches it will be hard to tell until the rust starts. So just have to check it for rock chips and re-apply.

You don't have it on yet?

    He he
