Sport Grill - no one wants them...why?

Hi have been seeing a ton of sport grills up for sale and no one is biting at them! I have tried to get rid of mine as well because i cant stand chrome.

Is it better just to toss it in the garbage?

 

Tbh just hang it up you never know when you're gonna hit a deer LOl.. jk!

Hold on to it all of these aftermarket grills look like hammered dogshit.

Id just keep em. Even when u get a aftermarket one just to be safe just in case u damage it. Otherwise youll be grill-less till you can order another one. But thats just me

Craigslist here in Portland has one for $20 and one for $100! I tossed mine in the attic when I got my X-Trex grille.

 

IMO, the 18’/19’ looks a lot better than the 16’/17’ “Cheese Grater” type. I’m hanging onto mine (OR uses the same grille) in case/when someday I trade it in for a newer model and need to swap it out.

 

Have you ever seen hammered dog shit? It looks terrible.

 

Hang onto the grill. You never know. I have 2 oem grills hung up just waiting.

 

I've seen dog shit while I was hammered. Didn't look much different.

 

I like mine. Just had to black out the chrome ring around the outer edge. Traded out my pro grill for it

 

Spray it flat black. I like my cheese grader grill because everyone else takes their grill out and replaces with one they like. That’s called making it you’re own.

 

That cheese grater/whale shark mouth grill the sport comes with is ugly as sin.

The pro grill and black SR grilles are the only ones that do not look out of place.

 

I like mine too (purchased on the forum). Probably going to pick up a set of SR wheels to complete the pkg. I think that combination will look god on the MGM.

 

I put mine in the garage rafters for when the TRD-Pro grill gets all sun bleached and faded in several years. Mind you I got the off-road grill but same story.

 

I knew mine was going in the trash so I just broke most all the tabs off taking it apart. Made for fast work! And in the trash it went.
