I just had eibachs installed today and had the 5100s set at .85 with the 1/4" driver side spacer. Independent suspension and alignment shop did the work and said the alignment isnt perfect but very close. I now have a vibe/slight roar between 50 and 70 mph. What could it be? Is it something to worry about? I can feel it slightly in the steering wheel and pedal. The truck tracks straight and doesnt wander. I had just 5100s prior to today set at 1.75 with no vibs or noise at all. Oh, yes i have stock uca's and the tires are 265/70s still.

    Here is the alignment specs:

Can someone look at the alignment specs and give some input. I don't know what they mean.

Your Caster should be closer to 2*, and the Camber should be closer to 0*.
Personally, It doesnt look too bad. Everything is pretty even.

Yea, I saw where most guys are saying get the caster close to 2 and he told me he wanted to get more caster but there was no way. Caster has to do with how it tracks, correct? If so I think I am ok there cause it actually tracks better than before. I assume camber and Toe have to do more with tire wear. I asked him if he thought I should get new uca's and he said he didn't think it was worth the money...will i have premature/uneven tire wear with these numbers? Not really concerned with the tires thats on it, but once I get new tires I dont want to wear them out faster than they should.

did they rotate your tires? If one of the rears was out of balance, you might feel it in the steering wheel now that it's up front. I don't think that you'd feel it in the pedal though, that's probably drivetrain related.

Well, i purchased new wheels about a month ago and they got rotated then when they mounted/balanced, but my tires are a bit chopped up and worn uneven from a past bad alignment and now since i am 1" higher in the front I wonder if the tire contact with the road (or whatever im trying to say) has altered and the vibs are coming from the tires. I am having them rebalanced today as a first effort to see if that works.
What should I look for if this doesnt work? Chris says driveline vibs are felt in the seat and that not my case...just slight vib in steering wheel and pedal but more of a humming/roar noise than the vib.
Chris also said to check the wheel bearing, which i will do, but that would be some coinsidence being as i drove into the shop with no vibs or noise and left with the vibs and noise.

Well it turns out the tires were out of balance so all is well now. Thanks
