Hey guys. I have a question. Do you guys know if it will work to use the truxx 3inch lift wit coil spacers. Here is the thought the truxx lift is the block that sits on top of the strut tower. It has the diff drop brackets to realign the drive angles. I was thinking about also doing the 2inch aluminum spacers in the coil springs as well. Will this work or am I looking for trouble. If I do this it will supposedly give me 5 inches of lift. I want to run 35's would it be better for me to do the truxx lift and a body lift? I am fixing to order my lift. I cannot afford a true 6inch suspension lift even though I know this would be the best way. Thanks for your replies.

First of all don't do a body lift unless it's under an inch.

Just go for a 3" Suspension lift the spacers are going to be crap and will just cause you problems.

and another thing if you do 5" of spacers your CV joints are going to go by by fast there is no way you can get them at the right angle without a drop bracket.

3" lift Up front(Donahoe Racing ext. travel coil overs, Camburg UCA's), 1.5-2" lift in the back(aal and some billy 10" stroke short bodies), Bushwhacker Cut-Out fender flairs, 16"x10" Procomp Street locks, and 305/70 Procomp X-Terrains.
x3 Just save your money if you are going to do a 4" or 6" lift, it is well worth it down the road. I am learning that the hard way right now...
BTW look at name brands for this 4" to 6" lift such as Pro Comp and Fabtech they give you everything you will need.

drop bracket or sas is the only way youll fit 35s. you cant drop the diff enough without cutting your crossmember and lowering the t case to realign the cvs. if you dont have money now and its what you really want save dont worry about the cost if its what you want. i tried saving a few bucks and im ending up spending more than it would have cost me to just throw in some parts in the first place

You can run 35's with a 3" lift. Trim you fenders! Do you have a 4banger or v6? Gear ratio? I see that you have a trd taco, so guessing 4.30? or 4.56?

Well I have a trd 4 cyl with 4.30's. You'll like to see 35's with trimmed fenders and 3" lift? if so, here ya go:

And? Still had to trim the crap out of the fenders and bed. The OP is asking how to fit 35's with a 3" lift...there's the answer. Even though they are 37's, same concept.

    Here's another one:

those're 37's according to the specs!

Nice but I'd hate to have to 'trim' that much of my truck off.

I know that's 37's, didn't say they weren't? Point it, if you can make 37's fit then you can fit 35's....just showing it's possible with a small lift. If you wheel you wheel hard, do you care about body damage? No, but assume this guy doesn't and it's more for show.

anything is possible if you put your mind to it. i guess i just couldnt fathom cutting up a perfectly good truck to fit 35s unless its a trail rig or the like. hope we answered your question op it can be done...but at the price of your fenders. if you need any good recommendations for your lift dont hesitate to ask and theres always the search function
