Depending on the wheel fitment/tire size/rub point, lift might not do diddly for clearance.

Also OP, look at headstrong off-road and add a leaf. Can probably get a full ome lift with ucas for around 1500. Or without ucas for around 1000 or so

Only need about an inch of clearance from back of fender well to tire

They both preload the coil, yes? Yes. They ride very very similar. I've had everything from a spacer all the way up to kings and icons.

Similar yes. But an entirely different strut and spring set up will, for the most part, ride better than a 2-3 inch spacer. My buddy has a 15’ with spacers and it rides like it’s on 2x4s

I have a 2016 crew cab long bed. Had a 2015 TRD PRO suspension on it for a couple years but wanted a bit more lift/travel without losing ride quality on/off road. The TRD tuned PRO suspension was great at both, but lacking the travel, adjustability, and front remote reservoirs. I was looking at the new TJM XGS series as it was only ~$1,600 installed. I found a Tacoma with it so I drove it and found the ride quality to be harsh/stiff both on/off road. Springs were progressive but the shocks were smaller and did not appear to be able to take the desert running high speed 4x4 type of offroad I do. Perhaps its more for looks than quality, and for sure a good cheap option. I went with the ICON Stage 4 w/ Tubular UCA's and spent ~$4400 which included install. This kit compares very well to the TRD PRO stuff that both Bilstein and FOX have put out, but with better features and a tad cheaper.
