Lol, I think you overestimate dealerships. I was a writer at a different brand, if we had an email or complaint like that, the advisor would explain their rationale in the weekly meeting, and then pretty much everyone would move on without any penalty. Both the writers and management are only worried about total profit and CSI (survey emails) that affect the writers' pay rate and the actual dealership's overall CSI.

That's just the way dealers are. Luckily I worked with good (honest) writers and majority of techs were also good and honest, but seriously glad I got out of that world.

Speaking of rookie police, I was pulled over at 0015 this morning heading NB on 286 while driving back from a long, fun day at Kings Dominion. Evidently I crossed the white line three times within a mile so the officer decided to pull me over and was nice enough to explain why, probably thought he had a DUI. Long story short, he wrote me a ticket for failing to pay full time and attention. Funny thing is my youngest slept through the entire incident, oblivious the the fact.

 

This probably explains my posting...

 

Yep he was hoping for DUI and had to settle for that. I bet he took forever writing that ticket to hoping for a warrant to come back.

 

He sure as hell did and all the while the blinding lights were in my mirrors so I couldn't see a damned thing!

 

Any road warriors have nothing to do and want to make $400 for a crazy drive today? I'm completely serious. Wife messed up, needs her passport for tomorrow, and I'm in CT with her.

 

So you need someone to drive up to CT with her passport?

 

Or a chunk of the way. I don't care if someone has a kid that wants to make some easy money or they do. Its whatever. Just have no way to overnight it on a Sunday. It's a 7hr drive each way, but it's easy money if someone enjoys the seat time. I would do it lol
