You only have about 90" of drop over 800 yards; an easy 1,100 yard rifle with the right scope.

That Nightforce base already has 20 MOA built in.

Huh? A leupold thats only rated for 100? Get you something with a good reticle, and learn how to use it. No adjustments necessary.

 

Its on a hunting rifle. I didn’t need to shoot far

 

My dad loves Vortex stuff. He's on a PST Gen 2 mounted on a 20moa base. Great scope. I may opt for one of their scopes oneday. But for as often as I shoot anymore, my redfield works fine.

 

The PST2's are a good value, even though a lot of them were defective from the get go.

I only have 1 PST which is 1-4, and it sits on my hog hunter AR15. Tell you what, I have mistreated that rifle like a red headed step child and haven't cleaned it for years...even after several outings in bad rain in Texas.

I've got 1 Razor that used to cycle between my girls rifle and my .22lr plinker.

 

The diamondback tactical is the one Id like. A big PST wouldnt look good on my 16" ar. But Ive been shooting my XM177 clone-ish rifle more than anything lately. Gives new meaning to lightweight, accurate and fun as hell.

 

I can also hit 100 yards with this even with my wood chip adjusted sights lol
