    FYSA, You are generally covered by federal law while traveling through states. U.S.C. 926A (the "Safe Passage" act) Allows you to have firearms in your possession while traveling through other states so long as it’s ‘unloaded’ and ‘properly’ stored. It’s a lot of gray area and interpretation, but might help cover in the event of traveling via roadway.

    I’m sure your GF would be better with the legal jargon. Something to look into if you go back to Idaho to pick it up. ;)

    Yeah if I was to bring it into Cali I’d have locked it in the bottom of my tool box in the bed under a bunch of greasy tools and spare parts. But I don’t believe citizens should have guns ever... so I didn’t :cool:
