If they are into IPAs grab some Trash Panda from Lost Forty. Much better than Love Honey.

I bought a new 2019 TRD OR access cab today. I’ll get some pics up soon.

I highly recommend the USAA car buying service, and McLarty Toyota across from McCain Mall.

I had to spend most of yesterday up in LR for a medical appt, and I have to say the drivers and traffic up there are ridiculous. :angrygirl: I had some asshat jump into my lane on I-30 from an on ramp doing 20 under while I was cruising at 15 over. I had to stand on the brakes to not run up his ass end. Then, while I was laying on the horn to let him know the intelligence of his decision, he stomped his brakes to try to brake check me.

15 over in the outside lane...hmmm. Come by the store next time you’re in town and say hi

I was moving with the rest of the traffic, so it doesn't matter which lane I was in. Changing into a lane at 20 under the posted speed and 30+ under the flow of traffic is more than a little dangerous.

    What/where is your shop?

We bought my wife's 4Runner from North Point about a week before it became McLarty. I'm getting really tired of the upsell every time she takes it in for service but they haven't tried it with me yet. They try to charge us every time even though we bought extended service. One guy even tried to tell my wife that because we bought the vehicle and extended service from North Point it was not valid now that they're McLarty. Which is funny because when we were looking at moving to Germany Toyota Corporate told me our extended service agreement would be valid in Germany. Every time we've taken it since 35k we have to argue with them about something.

Mine came with a 2 year 25,000 mile free service plan, no extra charge. Apparently it’s from Toyota as it’s good at any Toyota dealer. There is a sticker in the windshield with places to mark off the free 5000 mile services up to 25,000 miles.

I used the USAA car buying service, got a great price and ZERO of the usual haggling and back and forth bullshit. I got the max KBB trade value for the Titan too. Again, no hassle at all. Far different than our last experience with Orr in Hot Springs, THAT was a royal PITA that took all day.

Buyobuyo, I’m down in Camden, or more accurately Highland, a couple of times a week for work.

Nice. I work out at Highland. If you ever feel like talking trucks and bs'ing after work when you're down here give me a shout.

I've got a couple more "Free" visits to McLarty. After that, I hope I never see them again.

That's kind of what I'm thinking. A friend's wife works at Orr in Searcy. I think we're going to give them a try, maybe even before our free visits end.

I could probably go to Searcy (I'm in Cabot). But NLR is just more convenient. We purchased a 19 Rav4 Adventure (for the wife) from McLarty. And A few months later, the Tacoma. We had a very bad experience with the Adventure and wound up trading it back in. Long story short - the manager said he would help us OUT of the Adventure. But "didn't" when we sat down to do the trade. I wish now that we would have just lemon lawed the Adventure. The experience left a bad taste.

Coworker of mine went through the Lemon Law process with Fletcher Dodge. It was a very drawn out process and he basically just dropped it off at the dealership and stopped making payments until the whole thing was sorted out. Sounded painful so you might have been better off with the route you went.

Probably right. Having to give up another $1500 on the trade was painful to my wallet. But I have heard about the Lemon process. Even though I think I had a very good case. I knew that McLarty wasn't going to just roll-over. Dealers are like politicians. They're all crooks.

Skinny one, but guess it did a bit of damage. I've already heard from one of my dealers in Richardson this morning needing rope and stuff.

Familiar yes, live near there no.

Decent homes will be pricey due to proximity. Traffic pretty heavy on the west side near the Mall and 71. Botanical Garden on the est is worth checking out. Trails are busy, especially on the nice weekends. Don't know the kayaking scene up there.
