Sadly in one form or another 'the total Gouge' in your area doubles the Gouge in my area. Retail profit margins in my area are .20+ of a $2.29 unleaded pump price. Maybe someday lower 'gouge' cost will apply to your area. I'm sure the gouge is fairly reinvested in all cities and communities in SoCal.

$1.56 Canadian a litre here in Sooke, British Columbia. That’s $5.90 Canadian per US gallon.

 

I don’t think you read that right bro. My point was in Cali ( I’ve been here 46years) we know that our gas tax money for the roads are being deferred to other areas instead of the roads and freeways promised. So when I little Honda Civic pulls up and drops $50 bucks I’m sure he/she is pissed. Our prices shouldn’t fluctuation by $2.50 year to year month to month and we know.
