    This was on my 2018 TRD Pro for 3 days before removing and trading in. I purchased the components separately because I don't like oiled filters with MAF sensors, and you shouldn't either. It works with the oem dry filters just fine.

    I agree. I don't like oiled filters with MAF sensors. It works with the oem dry filters just fine.

    May I ask, so is it not advisable to put the filter oil on this? I got one and used the K&N filter inside. Why what happens to the MAF sensor with the air filter being oiled? Thanks in advance. And great item OP, loved mine until this day.

    MAF sensors can be damaged due to over oiling the filters after cleaning and the oil pulling through the filter and into the intake stream. Why risk it? They’re no better than a good dry filter for filtration or performance. Just a dangerous game for no upside.
