Anyone have issues with sidewall cracks on BFG K02's? Just noticed that my sidewalls are cracked all the way up into the tread on a few of my tires. They still have some life in them, but they are dated 2012. So I guess a bit old, but its still surprising.

No, never saw that on my first set, which were from Oct 2014 and I removed them (with tread left and sold) a few months ago. Do you go drifting off-road at low pressure? That's the only thing I can think of by how those look torn. Maybe they are just dry-rotted and running at low pressure caused them to crack.

Nothing like this on mine. I have a 2012 stamp on them as well but I know they are much newer than that.

I don't even air down 95% of the time due to laziness. So I don't think it's due to airing down. I was planning on getting a new set before winter (maybe some 295-75-16's) but now I'm reconsidering getting another set of K02's.

I would say tire age but doesn’t really look like “true” dry rot. Tire compositions just stop bonding after a certain amount of time/ conditions and why they date tires.

    Hi all,

I've got some buddy's who are hard on motors and bad at maintenance. I'm looking for a complete low-mile 3RZ-FE 2.7L or just a good 8 port head for that motor and also looking for a complete, low-mile single VVTi 1GR-FE 4.0L V6.

I've got an email out to Yoda Jim's in the Denver area but can anyone recommend another reputable junk yard, the closer to Durango the better, but willing to travel a bit for the right deal/one-stop-shop, though.

    Thanks!
    Nic

Isn't your radius from home on Sunday like 15 minutes?
It's really windy up here above Boulder. Could so stomping on crunchy leaves.
