    After working at Snoqualmie pass for over 10yrs I've seen the most ridiculous drivers in the snow. Typically it's someone who, let's say fits a certain stereotype, and has more money than brains. Driving a big luxury sedan which are 99% of the time rwd, with chains on the front, or those who drive a fwd car but think that because everyone around them is installing chains on the back, they should too. :facepalm:

    The guys who hang out at the chain up pull out area and charge to install them for you make a lot of coin I'd imagine. Probably pretty quick at it too.

    That and pulling people out of the ditch... Both were a lot better before debit cards. It's hard to walk away from some soccer mom with 23 kids in the car just because she doesn't carry cash.

    Grumpy old sticky female coworker thought she knew everything and wouldn't take any advice from anyone - "i've been on this earth long enough to figure shit out for myself and I don't need no man to tell me how to do it and whatnot!"

    Case in point:
    It started snowing mid day in early 1990's and the building was at 130th and Belle-Red next to the old bank there. She had her son come install chains on the rear tires of her FWD cadillac. We all looked out the window and were laughing at her attempting to power her way up a tiny incline.

    Can't fix stubborn or stupid...
