Maybe I missed it, but are there any 86” and up sliders out there? Obviously a couple respected companies, yours included @jowybyo, ended up with a number much shorter. “Inadequate” it seems, per OP.

What gives here? What are the 86” and up options?

We really need the SAE to step in and start regulating slider coverage. Have it set in stone, and any manufacturer that deviates gets put on the rack! These are medieval times we live in people. We need rules and we need compliance. Resistance is Futile!

As long as we don't regulate pencil skirts. That field needs innovation and boundary pushing.

I know this thread is a smoldering dumpster fire, but in his defense I had no clue these were shorter until I saw my buddies sliders. The website doesn't make it clear and the pictures are all from an angle that makes it impossible to tell.

As salty as everyone is, I was close to buying these (decided to wait for other reasons) and if I went to put them on I'd have been pretty surprised by the gap.

I bought a brand new Corolla, I can’t believe it’s not full size? All the pictures I saw were from an angle. Toyota should disclose it’s a compact and not a full-size. I feel like I got ripped off.

Is it really that hard to tell where the slider stops in this photo?

Like I stated earlier. Very few manufacturers state dimensions. And most provide similar photos of the sliders, not really showing crystal clear length. This is good information but it is upto the buyer to figure out if the product works for them.

That angle you can't actually tell. And while they're not outright lying about the length, given this thread and everything else it would probwbly be smart if they updated the site with a picture that shows it right on so you can tell.

You can’t tell that the beveled point of the square tube doesn’t extend beyond the edge of the door seam? Or that the same square tube on the rear stops at the back of the cab (on a DCSB)? You might need a new glasses prescription.

Why wouldn’t they give a clear side shot of it on the vehicle is a better question

If it wasn't clear enough from the pictures, then why buy?
