Consistency, mainly. I usually go for about a 1:13 - 1:16 coffee:water ratio. Just depends on the type of beans being used and the brewing method/device

Wife and I went to the fair yesterday. We spent about $80 just on food :bananadead:

I had a long list of the things I wanted to eat but had to tap out before I could complete it. I felt awful :puke:

    What I did eat:

The Chickenator: 3 fried chicken tenders with bacon and cheese on a bun, which was made up by a honeybun sliced in half

    17CC4C54-A820-42FD-A577-9DCDB5B144CD.jpg

The Joco Hoho: A huge jalapeño stuffed with brisket and cheese. Deep fried

    Pumpkin Spice Hushpuppies

Korean BBQ Pork Belly Egg Roll

I also ate a good amount of my wife’s ribbon fries. We arrived at 12, left around 4. I was hungry again by 7

So I ate some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and milk to round out the day.

Back on my normal bullshit today :hattip:

We have free fair parking, just have to walk quite a ways to get to the actual fair. But that helps me not feel so bad about the food :notsure:

OC fair is cool. They do a concert with legit bands (saw rebelurion this year) at the amphitheater. Tickets are only like $30 and you get free entry to the fair with your concert ticket.

Can’t do these morning workouts anymore lol just beyond tired lately so new plan is to just work 11 hours rather than 12 at work and workout after work when I have energy.

will get back to morning workouts after but fuck I’m tired lately lol

I worked out in the AM for years but switched to PM. I like the afternoons more even though I’m a morning person.

405 for 5x3 again. Except this week it moved faster. Like, way faster. Pretty happy with this. Definitely the most buttery smooth reps I’ve ever pulled at this weight. Last set shown.

Ok so... I’m swearing off pizza.

I worked my regular gig and 30 hours at the bar this week. I got off early Saturday so hubs and I (whos been doing IF with me this whole time) decide to go grab a pizza for dinner.

We go to bed last night both of us are tossing and turning. I wake up at 2am sweating like a pig. Hubs yells at me to go turn the A/C on. I go to the thermostat, house temp is 65F... apparently we’re menopausal women now.

It sucked. We went from sleeping like logs to insomnic and just felt like shit.

If eating certain foods makes you feel that bad, fuck it I don’t need to eat it.

    It was eye opening.

I think before you swear off something as amazing as pizza, you should try it one more time to make sure it was the pizza that kept you up.

It was the pizza. I’ve noticed it before but it wasn’t as bad because I had eaten such junk more frequently. Now that I was away from any processed foods for over a month it was a more clear connection.

I'd get to the root of the problem and just swear off IF.

218.7# this morning. Not doing too bad. Altho, this is where I typically slow down and stall out. Good thing my cycle is changing in a couple weeks.

Diet restructured just a little as well. Starting today -

Adding in higher fat content yogurt (about 120 calories extra)
Adding in more fruit (banana and apple) (about 250 calories)

We shall see. I should be around 4100 calories right now with those extras. Need to do some calcs.
