    Itchy is back. Ahhhh

Now I'm going to sit in the bath with a little Enya on the smart speaker and pour his warm, cleansing prose over my head this sharp fall morning

TRD Off Road owners... do your headlights turn on/off automatically?

I know the auto high beams is standard now, but seems like they require the premium package in order to get "automatic headlights."

I'm assuming this means non premium package trucks will not turn on/off your headlights based on ambient lighting conditions... ?

On my truck the automatic headlights were part of the Premium and Tech Package.

Go manual. You won’t regret it. You’ll turn 33s fine.

    2.7 whore here.

I drive a 2018 Off-road MT. Drives like a breeze. I prefer manual in Tacoma cause one reason to get a Tacoma is it’s still offered in Manual. If you’re getting an MT I suggest you get the TRD Pro on 2020 as it includes all the packages (MTM, tech, premium) and it’s the same price as that of an off-road with all the packages if it was available

At first I didn't think I would care for the automatic headlights but to be honest I turned the switch on the day I bought the truck and have never touched it since, pretty sweet!

    Thanks!

I badly want 35s and she’d look mean, but that means 5.29s and no going back to 33s if I’d need to.

    Only time I wish I had a v6

Very true. For my type of off-roading 33s + 4.88 + locker would be plenty. 35s is an aesthetic thing, and an expensive one lol.

The Pro is out for me... can't get one without a moonroof. That's a deal breaker. I'm too tall and hit my head several times during test driving one with a moonroof. The headliner protrudes lower than without the moonroof. It looses headroom directly above your head and on the left side of the roofline, which is where I hit my head every time I turn to the left and check my blind spot before changing lanes or merging.

I usually reserve manual transmissions for sporty cars and have a manual currently. The at Tacoma isn’t bad . I guess I’m just not interested in a manual truck .Except the old Hilux because 80s autos suuuuck.

The 3 speed auto in my 84 datsun 2wd king cab is just fine. Lol. It could've used and overdrive gear, tho!

Yeah but with the bigger tires it’s bad enough on the 81

Yeah I probably wouldn't want any 80s auto 4wd truck especially with larger tires.

Worth noting that Datsun/Nissan did not offer their 4wd pickup in auto. Haha
