October 2019 Seattle-Area Meet

The last I heard at 3:00 this morning was no, they haven't. They know he is high centered, but don't know where. He's an old Weyerhaeuser employee and knows the White River tree farm and surrounding Forest Service ground really well. His phone pinged a cell tower, but that one tower covers from Enumclaw area up towards Greenwater and over to Wilkeson and onto parts of the Kapowsin tree farm.

 

That poor dude must be pretty damned bewildered.

Anybody doing any trail runs saturday?

 

Not aware of one being set up, weather looks like it's suppose to be nice. I'd be down, but already have plans =/

 

Looks like Sunday’s forecast is clear / patchy clouds near Pilchuck. Might head up for some lead farming if anyone is interested.

I'll be in Vegas this weekend! Have new shotgun to try out next time though

Big bump for 11/9!!! Sounds like some folks are heading out this weekend as well to take advantage of the break in the weather. Have a blast! Wish I could make it.

 

Alrighty...Here is the plan...

We're going to run Bethel Ridge OHV Trail. I've heard awesome things from a lot of people about this. The views are legendary at the top.

Details for meet up:
-When: 10:30 am, Saturday, 11/9. We will depart when all who RSVP arrive or 11 am sharp, whichever comes first.
-Where: Sticky Fingers Bakery & Cafe in the town of Naches (217 Naches Ave, Naches, WA 98937)
-Basic trail info: rated as easy to moderate. 9.5 miles out and back

Dang sounds like fun, should be muddy though.

 

Sure, it's offroading in the wilderness in fall at high elevation. You should be prepared for snow and/ or mud.

 

Pictures look like it’s pretty tame, more of a fire road for anyone who are weary of the “moderate” tag. One comment on there said Subaru’s might have a hard time but any Tacoma could do it

 

If there's any precipitation, be prepared for snow up there.
