Heated seats swap

So im still digging through the forum threads seeing if this has been done, but has anyone else looked into swapping the heated seats and controller from a wrecked 3rd gen that came with them into a truck that didnt? yeah I get it that if I wanted them I should have gotten them when I bought the truck but I had my reasons. welp ill keep searching and see if this is possible.

 

Why go to all that trouble when you can just buy aftermarket and install them. I think you need to take the entire climate control from the doner truck.

I’ve been toying with getting heated seat covers to help with my creaky back; I too didn’t pay for a pimped out Tacoma. Sub’d to see what you find. You might not want a seat that’s been in a serious accident....

 

@JaCado I won't lie that I haven't looked into the cost of all the aftermarket seat options. and yes you are right I would need to harvest a lot from the donor truck. im gonna keep looking for sure. just something that would make the move to the PNW a little more comfortable in winter along with remote start. lol
